Shifting sands of corporate serfdom

For the past year I've been working for a major computer company as outsourced labour with a consulting firm in Barcelona. Several months ago, we were informed that Accenture had won our contract with the computer firm, and would be moving the project to Prague.

We were warned that eventually, we'd be made redundant - as our project here wound down. Aside from a couple of sackings and resignations, there has been no major wave of redundancies… but it seems that this evening will see the first.
