Iraq's Flag

Does anyone remember the controversy over Iraq's new flag? You may remember that a new design was 'introduced' but has never been seen since.

The Wikipedia, as always, has the definitive answer to the question of what happened to the flag.

Interesting that the flag remains essentially the same - albeit with a few superficial changes. Let's hope that Iraq itself doesn't go the same way!!
