The Kills play Barcelona 19th November

The Kills Those crazy Kills are coming to town. They were going to be supporting American ladies (and erstwhile friends of the late Elliott Smith) Sleater-Kinney but unfortunately, the main act have pulled out.

I'm not really bothered because I really like The Kills. My problem is that no one wants to go with me because it's the same evening that BarÃ§a play Madrid for the first time this season. And Gemma's going to manchester.

So if anyone nice wants to accompany me to the concert, please contact me. In fact, even if you're not nice, I'd be interested.

o i'll go with you. i saw them last week and they were absolutely amazing.
you should definitely try and track down a remix ep of their's out next week – the backstage sluts remix of good ones is the best record of the year. by miles.

they've got really slick and amazing. i saw them a few times earlier in the summer and jamie was forever fannying about between songs trying to get the drum machine working (not unlike alan with the synth at the linton travel tavern) but last week it was seemless and brilliant. and vv was on smiley happy pills or something. she actually spoke and stuff.
