Basta ya!

After two weeks or more, we now 'have the internet' at home again. Wanadoo surprised me by fixing the error they caused a fortnight ago. So from now on (hopefully), the blog's back to full speed.

Some links you may not have seen:
Chris Lowe's new blog, hilariously titled 'the Lowe point'.
Nick Mead's new professional site. Not for comments about mobile phones or arses.
Our wedding site, occasionally updated.

  1. This is your quotation:

"This 75 percent naively believes that employment is the same as wealth and production, but a job where you don’t do anything (and this is the aim of civil servants) adds no value to the community."

    This is the full paragraph:

"This 75 percent naively believes that employment is the same as wealth and production, but a job where you don’t do anything (and this is the aim of civil servants) adds no value to the community. Keynes, for example, supported this type of “production.” He claimed that during a crisis “the state must stimulate employment, even if that meant hiring men to dig holes and then fill them in again.”"

Why you mutilate the very last part? Maybe because Keynes's words are actually offensive for a person who believes in public service. His words are, obviously, a proposal for prostitute public service.

You talk about sunking journalism. What does sunk here?

Delete this, too from your mind if you can.

  2. I don't understand. Are you still banging on about that Jorge Valin thing? feel free to contact me if you like, but I really don't understand any of the drivel you've just written.

    Cheers,
    Tom
