  3. Yes… very jealous! I have to buy a new laptop at some point in the next couple of months and the Mac/PC debate is driving me mad!

  7. I'll post some images of this beast shortly. Suffice to say: I am extremely happy with my choice!

  8. I got this same baby, got it a few weeks ago and drove me mad. I come from a windows enviroment and it is an insane expierence to be confronted with MacOS with a lot of work to do. I have to admit that in various times I was compelled to throw it out the window. Now, I am a very happy man and grateful to Apple. I also can´t wait for the iphone.

  9. Daniel – not sure if you found this out but you can configure the mouse to work like a PC one with a 'right click' function. I find it pretty annoying having to press control to get a menu up.

Ben – go for Apple. They're much better machines. But have you considered not getting a laptop? The iMac works out much cheaper pound for pound.

  10. I need a laptop as I travel to the UK a lot at the moment. I would love to try apple, but I need to use a lot of programs I have on the pc that I just couldn't get on the apple without spending a lot of money – all the microsoft word etc, adobe photoshop and auditio, pdf creator… the list is too big for me to risk a move to apple at the moment, I think… can I run all these on the mac though?! Would I need to install xp on the mac as well?

  11. Adam, what did you say originally? Maybe a good start to the new year for you would be to clean your mouth/mind/room out.

Ben, I'd definitely go for a Mac. There are ways and means of getting that software. PC's are just junk in the long run – a Mac is a much higher quality product.

Tom, congratulations. I hope you'll both be very happy together.
