I would love to try apple, but I need to use a lot of programs I have on the pc that I just couldn't get on the apple without spending a lot of money - all the microsoft word etc, adobe photoshop and auditio, pdf creator... the list is too big for me to risk a move to apple at the moment, I think... can I run all these on the mac though?! I find it pretty annoying having to press control to get a menu up. Ben - go for Apple. They're much better machines. But have you considered not getting a laptop? I come from a windows enviroment and it is an insane expierence to be confronted with MacOS with a lot of work to do. I have to admit that in various times I was compelled to throw it out the window.
