thebadrash.com is taking a thoroughly undeserved break by jetting off to Amsterdam for a long weekend. We're really looking forward to it as neither of us have been. If anyone has any useful travel hints (other than "Don't buy the most expensive weed on the menu" – as if I'd do that!), feel free to leave a comment.

Well it's very touristy but the canal boat trips are really worth it in Amsterdam – it's the only way to properly see the buildings on either side. If you're not fed up with museums after all that art then Anne Franks house is worth a visit. Went to a really good Thai hotpot restaurant – can't remember its name or where it is but if you come across it by accident let me know – I'm going there next month. Enjoy.
