It's more original, packs more emotional punch, perhaps has more to say. I think it should have got best picture and director. Crucially it's a very left-field film but it's coming out of main stream Hollywood. It's like the 1970s again! It's weird having the Oscars and actually caring about the results for a change. This is looking like a vintage year, especially when last year was such a nadir.
