What's revealing about the accounts of the meeting the other day is just how much Rajoy resents Aguirre's attempts to replace him. He made very pointed remarks about being independent of certain "medios de comunicación" and there was also his "he or she who wants to stand against me is welcome to do so" challenge. I don't think she'll be in his inner circle and for once I don't blame him. You can never turn your back when Espe's around.
