Christian lacks logical viewpoint shock!

This was on the Today programme yesterday morning. The BBC are considering allowing atheists to offer their thoughts in the Thought for the Day section. Currently, only religious people are invited to do the slot. In the clip, Christina Rees attacks this idea with the strongest weapon in her armoury: unreason.

Thebadrash.com = quiet of late. Coming soon: petitions, photos, music, corruption and maybe even a new poll.

  1. Currently reading The God Dellusion and I am in awe. It should be made compulsory reading in schools, and sit next to the Bible in public libraries.

In BBC Radio Scotland, they have invited someone from the Secular Society for their Thought of the Day in some occasions.

There was some hoo-ha when it started but it has died down now I think.

  2. Seems that only believers would listen to something like 'thought for the day' so by putting on the odd atheist comment, you would lose your core audience.

  3. Well I quite like Thought For The Day sometimes – without sounding too wanky, I think we can all benefit from a philosophical look at world events from time to time. I just don't understand why atheists are kept out.
