thebadrash.com – "ages ago I confessed…"

My name's Tom Clarke. I live in Cerdanyola del Vallès, a town just outside the city of Barcelona, with my wife, Gemma, but I'm originally from Modbury, Devon in the UK. I'm content director for the English edition of a popular Spanish software website. In my free time I enjoy tapping my foot to the music of Royal Trux and Neil Michael Hagerty/The Howling Hex, the Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Jonathan Richman, France Gall, Love and The Fall. I like comedy – especially Stewart Lee, Graham Linehan, Chris Morris, Bill Hicks, Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow, Reeves and Mortimer, Lenny Bruce, Neil Hamburger, and the hit TV shows Seinfeld, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I enjoy reading poetry, popular fiction and left-wing polemic. I also enjoy all the usual things like eating, drinking red wine and sitting out on our terrace of a summer's evening. And the internet, of course. Our photos can be found here.
Hi Tom, I registered with your site in the hope I would be able to e-mail you but this is the only option I can find to contact you. Nothing important, just wanted to say hello and remind your readers that they can read political and satirical comment on http://www.motoespana.com.

Hi Tom
Came across you when checking my facts about COPE for a post on "http://www.romir.ru/eng/research/01_2001/european-values.htm"
I'm in Scotland but more Catalan than anything else blood-wise.

Pere – thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, the second link also fails! I hope you will let me know when the piece you were writing is complete; I'd be interested in reading it.

Tom – great that you're taking such a strong interest in what happened on Saturday at the march. Here's an invitation to come onto Radio Free Barcelona to put across your views on this, and other topics you might like to touch on. While the iron's hot, let's strike; i.e. any time that suits you Thursday, or Friday morning, pre-recorded for a Saturday broadcast. No need to dress for the camera…
